Vacuum breaker air valves are designed to prevent backflow of fluid into the pipeline, and high-capacity air release valves are designed to handle large volumes of air.


One of the main benefits of air release valves is their ability to remove air pockets in a piping system. When air is allowed to accumulate in a pipeline, it can cause flow disruption, water hammer, and even pipe rupture. Air release valves prevent these issues by releasing air from the pipeline.

Air release valves can be manual, which means that a human operator must open the valve to release air. However, automatic air release valves are more commonly used, as they can detect and release air without human intervention. Automatic air release valves are available in different types, such as electric or pneumatic actuators, which provide quick and precise responses.
